Sebastian wore his new antenna with pride. To most, it was a beacon of madness; a flag billowing in the winds of experimental sciences. To him, however, it was the ascension into something more than human.
He wondered how far he could push his brain. If it would adapt to the impulses of electromagnetic fields, if he could hear the colors, see the sounds he had longed to experience. To him, it was a step into the future.
A smile twisted his face as he thought about what came next. Waterproof, he pondered. Next time, I will make myself waterproof.
